Here are the pupils of the week for the weeks ending 23rd and 30th of September.
We are looking for parent volunteers for activities (such as shared reading, maths for fun, science for fun, school tours, outings, swimming, sports events, etc)
If you are interested in helping out in school at any stage during the year, you are required to be Garda Vetted first. Please contact Ann Marie or the office if you are interested in helping out and require forms to complete the Garda Vetting process. This week we have been learning lots about healthy food. We love fruit and vegetables and we have healthy lunches everyday in school.
We will be celebrating Peace Day as a whole school tomorrow.
Here are some peace symbols the Ash class made using our cutting and gluing skills. We coloured pictures of Humpty Dumpty. We cut him up and put him back together again. We are proud of our work.
Well done to our first Star of the Week.
Next week our teacher will be looking for children who use good manners, say please and thank you. This week we are working very hard at our tables. We are practicing our cutting and drawing skills. We are working on prewriting activities, keeping our hands and fingers busy. We will have our Humpty Dumpty display on show by the end of the week. Check back on Friday!
